The Trainer
Brad Bose has twenty years of experience in the fitness business. He is experienced in wrestling and sword work. Brad also has a doctorate in physiology, and is part life coach. You can get his excellent fitness services for $175 per session. In terms of the psychology of training; Brad refuses to stand over someone lying down because it creates a dominant-submissive relationship, he said. Instead, he rolls over an exercise ball and sits with the student eye-to-eye. He and his seven trainers refrain from judgment or proposing diet plans and let clients discover for themselves what they want from their training sessions.
“The challenge here was to keep him from looking too much like a superhero. His character is an alcoholic and a womanizer, and he’s an arms dealer. They didn’t want a six-pack or bulging muscles, but they wanted to see that he had the power to forge iron.”
“He never faltered,” Bose said. “A lot of people don’t realize how demanding it is. The training would be a challenge for anyone.”
“We don’t tell someone, `You should do this,’ ” Bose said. “A lot of problem with weight loss is resistance: `You can’t have chocolate!’ `I’ve got to have chocolate!’ You’re seen as the adversary.”
Robert on Brad Bose
“I was already training with Brad,” Downey said, “and so during the whole time of waiting to see and then screen-testing for, and then getting `Iron Man,’ I’ve been training with Brad.”
“He’s a doctor in this stuff. A lot of people out here are good and gifted and they’ve got books out. But when you go back and find out, what they really know about physiology is kind of limited. But he’s the guy.”
The Workout
Robert trained five days a week. His workout included weight-lifting, intensive martial arts training, and cardio. Bose had Robert use various unique exercise equipment to get into Iron Man form.

The AB-Inforcer.
The Ab-Inforcer is a device that has not only one of the coolest weight loss programs, but that also gets your spine in a neutral mode to work your core muscles properly and uses sensory feedback to alert you when you’re out of alignment. “On top of it being the best way to lose weight, it teaches the difference between using your abs and using your hip flexors,” says Bose, “which are usually the root of a lot of postural problems.”
The Pineapple
The Pineapple is a vibrating platform that causes you to use your core muscles, and leg muscles. You can do weights,a step-style cardio workout, and even yoga on it while helping with your weight loss.
