He had Hugh Jackman alternate between 4 weeks of heavy training and a few weeks of higher volume workouts so Hugh Jackman can maximize size gains! This little workout program truly maximizes size gains, especially of it is combined with some supplements to help the process out!

Hugh Jackman’s diet:

According to Hugh Jackman, 70% is what you eat and 30% is the workout routine you do!

Hugh Jackamn went on a 6,000-calorie diet to go with his workout program. However, he didn’t just randomly eat anything and everything he wanted. This is what Hugh Jackman ate:

Eating six or seven meals during the day;
Eating high-protein meals, ideally coming from unprocessed and natural sources;
Consuming carbohydrates (but not simple carbs) before 2 PM, and then eating proteins and fats for the rest of the day;
Choosing water over any other beverage, including sports drinks and energy drinks; and
Staying away from processed food.

Examples of the food he ate while he was doing the Hugh Jackman workout program to prepare his body for the role included chicken breasts, brown rice, ground turkey, egg whites, yam, and vegetables. To get an added boost, Hugh Jackman also took protein supplements and protein shakes.

Muscle Building Supplements:

Protein tablets help in building muscles and muscle recovery after a workout. Protein supplements or powder should be taken in the morning, after your workout and before bed!

Creatine is an organic acid naturally occurring in the body that supplies energy to muscle cells for short bursts of energy (as required in lifting weights). A number of scientific studies have shown that creatine can improve strength, energy, muscle mass, and recovery times. In addition, recent studies have also shown that creatine improves brain function and reduces mental fatigue. Unlike steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs, creatine can be found naturally in many common foods such as herring, tuna, salmon, and beef. In most cases, if you workout out a lot, you will not be able to eat enough creatine, so mnay bodybuilders take creatine about an hour befotre they exercise and an hour after they are done with their workout routine.  Creatine should also be taken after your workout. Creatine helps to enhance your performance because it is a source of energy for your muscle tissue. Research also suggests that creatine may promote beneficial hormonal changes that help to grow muscle.
