After his star-making turn as a vampire on “Buffy” and taking a bite out of crime as an FBI agent on FOX’s “Bones”, David Boreanaz will be seen next year in a film called “Our Lady of Victory” where he plays Ed Rush, an NBA Official. Not like he wasn’t already prepared physically for the role, David pushed up a notch his training and you can read all about that and some diet suggestions right here!

David Boreanaz’s Diet

“I maintain a pretty strict diet and fitness program because you’re always in the pool for other roles, so you have to be constantly ready. I follow a diet plan for my health, and creative performances for what I do, it helps me get the engines rolling in the morning.”

David Boreanaz’s Workout

In a recent interview, David Boreanaz told “Men’s Fitness” magazine about his weight loss tools: “I david_boreanaz_04usually tone up with core-strength workouts. I do them four times a week with a trainer I’ve been with for about five years now; his name is Andre Hudson. He puts me through a rigorous course of male weight loss incorporating cardio with strength training.  I work out mostly for my health, but for creative purposes, it helps me get the engines rolling in the morning. I work out in the morning, before my day starts. So if I have a 7 a.m. call time (start shooting a movie), I’m doing my hour long workout program starting at 6 a.m. As it gets into the week, the workouts usually get pushed back, but as long as I get three or four in a week, I’m fine, so I don’t buy exercise equipment.”

Given David Boreanaz’s hectic schedule alone with the family demands, better be in great shape. Although there have been reports of marital problems between David and his wife, we hope that everything works out for the best! By the way, congratulations to David and his wife Jamie, they are expecting their second child next year.
